Switzerland: R&D Driving Innovation
Developed in Switzerland, SIGNRACER continuously tests and enhances its products in our R&D center. Located within an industrial complex, we develop automation systems, new printer technologies such as the 2512 High Bridge, and innovative processes including masking technology. The center offers expanded office space, a dedicated demo and test area, and a showroom to present our industrial projects.
Germany: Expanding Production Capacity
In 2019, we relocated to a 600 m² production site in Trier, Germany. The facility handles printer assembly, quality assurance, customization, and machine preparation before delivery.
Why SIGNRACER in Daily Production

SIGNRACER History
Selected milestones in our technology and production development.
2024
All SIGNRACER flatbed printers were upgraded with linear motor technology. We developed the SR-200+ ink series with an extended color set, nickel-free Yellow-HD, and a non-sticky matte finish. Archived GREENGUARD certificate records for SR-200+ began in 2024 and ended on 25 January 2025; current status requires verification. We also launched a 3D-printing project with a surface scanner and moved to a new facility in April 2024.
2023
First sales of the SIGNRACER 3200 TURBO, a production roll platform with 5-liter ink tanks. This year also marked further development of linear-motor and encoder systems for SIGNRACER platforms.
2022
Focused on industrial projects in fashion and raised-effect watch-dial printing. Introduced the SIGNRACER 1800 RTR and SIGNRACER 2512 HB. GREENGUARD Gold certificates were issued in 2022 for SIGNRACER IN, SR-100 HD, and SR-200 HD ink series; these are historical records, not a statement of current certification.
2021
First trade fair for customers after the pandemic in Milan. SIGNRACER showcased a flatbed and a hybrid printer, marking a significant return to in-person events.
2020
Introduced Ricoh Gen. 6 printheads across flatbed and hybrid printer ranges and expanded waveform development for SIGNRACER ink configurations.
2019
At FESPA 2019 in Munich, unveiled the new high bridge flatbed SIGNRACER 1610HB for media up to 25 cm height. Presented the SIGNRACER 3020 with Kyocera print heads and linear motor technology achieving 1.5 m/s carriage speed. Introduced the SIGNRACER 3200RTR and new TEX printer series.
2018
At FESPA Berlin 2018, presented the HydroSpeed+ with a linear motor and a reported speed of up to 320 m²/h. Introduced the SIGNRACER WB water-based pigment ink for outdoor-printing workflows.
2017
At FESPA Hamburg 2017, showcased the Ricoh MH5220 print head on a SIGNRACER 2512 HD flatbed with low-viscosity SR-200 HD inks and continued development of the adjustable LED system.
2016
Introduced the SIGNRACER HD (High Definition) printer series. Became a development partner with Ricoh for the new MH5220 (Gen. 5s) print head with 2.5 pl drop size. Sales began in October 2016.
2015
At FESPA 2015 in Cologne, presented the SIGNRACER 1600 H-LED with Amethyst SR-100 ink and the SIGNRACER 2512 LED with Amethyst A50-UV-MPX ink.
2014
Developed a new high-performance LED for the SIGNRACER UV series. In December 2014, signed an OEM agreement with Ricoh, integrating the robust Gen. 5 print head into our high-end industrial printers.
2013
At FESPA 2013 in London, introduced the SIGNRACER UV printer series with Ricoh Gen. 4 printheads and Amethyst A50-UV-MPX inks.
2012
